In recognition of the need for evidence-based, universal, trauma-responsive practices that support the complete physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being of children, youth, staff, and caregivers, the TASN School Mental Health Initiative has partnered with Little Flower Yoga to provide a series of online videos introducing practices that: a) can be instructionally embedded, and b) are accessible to all. You can access these lessons for free at

Common Sense Media has created a brand-new, free online resource to support families and educators who are transitioning to remote learning as a result of the coronavirus: 
Wide Open School. Included are Social Emotional resources that provide self-care tips and coping skills to manage anxiety. Check out our School Counselor Resource page, for more social emotional resources, including a Coping Calendar and Coping with Anxiety Around the Coronavirus.

 KH Counselors now have Showbie classes for students to join! The classroom codes are as follows:

7th Gr Class Code: M6YTA
8th Gr Class Code: NRCPH

7th Grade students have a Class Selection Form on Showbie to complete, to choose next year’s elective classes, due this Friday, April  3rd. We ask that parents review their child’s class choices for next year and sign the form before submitting it on Showbie (page 2 of the form has a list of class descriptions).  clothing Friendly Falcon Closet

With the cold weather upon us, we have KH Students in need of warm weather clothing. If you have gently used scarves, gloves, coats, sweaters and hats to donate, the Friendly Falcon Closet would gladly take them! Please bring donations to the counselors’ office or place them in the back of Isabel’s room.
