Next week, KH will observe the Kansas Anti-Bullying Awareness Week, Monday 10/17 – Friday 10/19. The theme for next week is “Choose Peace.” We’ll have morning announcements, Bullying Prevention Pencils to hand out to Mentoring students on Monday, a Bullying Prevention Video, and a kindness chain activity. Students are encouraged to report any incident of bullying to a counselor, principal, or any trusted adult in person or anonymously through the STOPit App.  For more Bullying Awareness information, visit https://www.stopbullying.gov/ or call the Kansas School Safety Hotline, 1-877-626-8203.

Compass has been awarded a SAMHSA (Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration) Grant to provide FREE services to anyone who has been impacted by COVID-19.

 clothing Friendly Falcon Closet

The KH Friendly Falcon Closet is still up and running! If you would like to donate any hygiene products, snacks, school supplies, or clothing, we would gladly take them!We are in need of male and female deodorant, and male and female juniors athletic clothing, including sweatshirts, hoodies, shorts, shoes, and sweatpants, all sizes, small through XL.Please only donate clothing that teens would wear. Donations may be brought to the counselors’ office. Students who need items should write or email a list with sizes and give it to any adult in the school. The list will be given to KH Counselors who will call students in privately to pick out their items.
