Kick Butts Day!

Thursday, March 21st, KH students are observing Kick Butts Day. Tobacco use is still the No. 1 cause of preventable death in the U.S, killing over 480,000 people annually, more than AIDS, alcohol, car accidents, illegal drugs, murders and suicides combined, costing about $170 billion in health care expenses each year.

SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) students are encouraging their peers to “#Be the First” tobacco-free generation by providing information about the dangers of tobacco use and an opportunity to sign a pledge poster to be tobacco-free.  This event will take place during lunch from 11:29 to 12:10 pm.
